Mind Set Art Center is pleased to present 50: LIN Chuan-Chu as our year-end exhibition. The exhibition runs from 14 December 2013 until 19 January 2014, fully expressing the artist's kernel spirit of creation through diverse perspectives of his practice. As the artist enters the age 50, he intends to illustrate the state of mind throughout which reflects on his art and concept of life.
Recent performance photography documents the artist private experience with land and memory of his deceased parents. Works on paper, on the other hand, are sketches the artist makes whenever he has time, as if an image dairy. The unique strokes and color applied reveals the artist's strong background on Chinese painting, which also accomplishes a great integration of spirit in eastern painting and certain visual style of western art.
